We had a Snow Day...Yeah!!!!!

OK so we had a snow day yesterday yeah!!!!!!They are calling for snow through out the week yeah. I love snow days! I love the extra time home with the kids Brian also had the day off so they sled down the street and the neighbors drive way. Norm and Tess joined them and it was a great day.I was praying for anotherSnow day today or at least a late start but no such luck so I took the kids to school and Brian took Ginger to the Vet. On my way home it started to snow.

Praying for a snowday.........

Yeah it's snowing here and we are praying for a snow day. Taylor had a dance competition yesterday and their team won. Halle had a great birthday, thank you auntie Kay and uncle Larry boy for the toysrus gift card,thank you grandma val for the bracelet, thank you grandma grandma(that's what the kids call my mom)for the jeans,game and laundry hamper, and Thank you grandma and grandpa Darby for the 7 $1 bills.I have finally ended my "not getting sick" streak and ended up with a nasty cold. I have been in bed for the past 2 days and hardly have a voice. Now that I have finished up the South cheer book I need to start working on my submissions for one contest and for a design team. wish me luck I hope I am able to get onto a team...my term will be up soon with No Bare Pages and don't know if I will be asked to join for another term I will keep my fingers crossed.Cole has been hard at work in school and karate trying to earn his purple one belt however the winter seems to be hard to go on a consistent basis between weather,cold, etc......

Update.......

I uploaded the altered birdhouse to Basic Grey, they liked it! Yeah, so they put it in their designers gallery. It's the closest I have been to "published". Also a pic of Halle on her 7th birthday.Until later.

Just a Few New Projects......

Just a few projects I made for a a design team tryout. I didn't make it:( but thought I would share them any way.

Happy 7th Birthday Halle

Halle is now officially "7". We had a great day! Brian took the day off, we took cupcakes to the class room, and had dinner at Red Robin. We came home and did a few gifts and went to bed early. We had her friend party on Sunday. I can't believe she is 7 already. I would give anything to back with all the kids and start at the beginning again. I loved it so much. Well this is a short post today but I am soooo tired I need to tap a quick cat nap before I start dinner.

An off first week back to the grind......

Ahhhh...back to school. Not sure if I like them being back to school or not. On one hand the house is quiet and stays somewhat clean and on the other hand.....it is just too busy all the time.I feel like I don't have time to just breath.It's been a rough week for Tay, she and T are "taking a break" ahhh....young sweet puppy love, I hope they end up as friends after their break.I am off to try and make a layout and off to Costco and grocery store(yuk)!

Happy New Year

Happy New Year!!!! Well I have spent the first few days of 2008 cleaning. Still have Halle's room to do before her birthday. We've had lots of snow which we absolutely love...snow always makes me happy!Any inspiring New Years resolutions? Mine is just to continue to get healthy,organize my home, and stay on a BUDGET(yikes). I would love to be able to scrap at least a layout a week that would be a whole album filled in a year.....maybe I will try to scrap at least 2 a week. I can do that right?!
