Layouts, Cake, Surgery update....

T and I made our first fondant covered layered cake today. We were surprised how good it turned out consider we didn't have any REAL tools. We actually colored all the fondant ourselves. Here are a few new layouts too. Surgery went well....I was thinking I would be up and around a day or two after but I wasn't. I was sooo surprised at how tired and just plain yucky I felt...I finally surrendered and stayed down until today...but by around 7:00 I was exhausted and took a long nap. Just about ready to call it a night again.

One last Give Away before Surgery........

Twas the day before surgery and all through the house just one pile of clutter was left to invade my clean house. The packages were labeled for the postman with care in hopes that he would hurry and get them out of here.......can't think of more sorry. Some of you ladies know that Monday is my FUN surgery day.... I planned to be quicker than this mailing out packages...unfortunately I ended in the hospital last Thursday which put a damper on last weeks give away(as well as a speedy ship date). Since I have a lot of repeat winners I wanted to just be able to mail once(flat rate shipping is great :)....) So they are ready to go at the door for Mr. Postman. Reminisce Contest

Well, they announced the winners today of the Reminisce Freedom collection. I was so surprised to see my entry posted on the page of their blog in the top 5!!!!!!!!!!!!! A new Layout

Just finished this today from the Reminisce line Freedom.

Answering a few questions....the stars were hand cut out of the paper and layered. I found the paper a Craft warehouse...wanted to enter the contest that Reminisce was having just didn't know where to find the paper but stumbled upon it at CWH sitting on there counter....they hadn't even put it out yet!
